Arturo Mares

Hi, I’m Art - a Southern California–based videographer, photographer, and editor with a passion for visual storytelling.

My work is driven by an attention to detail and a desire to create visuals that feel intentional, cinematic, and authentic. Through my studies at the University of San Diego, I’ve developed a deeper understanding of communication, media, and the way visual storytelling can connect with an audience.

I founded Black Carbon Media Productions as a space to bring those ideas to life. Whether I’m behind the camera or in the edit, I approach every project with purpose. My passion is capturing real moments to shaping them into stories that people remember.
