MY STORY

Hi, Im Arturo Mares. Based in Southern California, I’m a videographer, photographer, and editor with a passion for visual storytelling.

I currently serve in the United States Marine Corps, where my experiences have shaped my creativity and attention to detail that I bring to every project. I attended the University of San Diego, where I strengthened my understanding of storytelling, media, and visual communication.

I founded Black Carbon Media Productions as a way to bring my experiences and creativity together. Whether I’m behind the camera or in the edit, I approach each project with purpose and a commitment to creating visuals that feel cinematic, authentic, and memorable.
